Laptops offer function and portability, and their efficiency in these two areas depends on the sizes. Another good way to categorize them is through display sizes.


10-inch to 12-inch

This size range is the thinnest and lightest laptops around. They weight around 3 lbs, which makes them perfect to fit your bag. However, they’re not really designed for heavy computing tasks, and the keyboard can be cramped for many users.

Laptops of this size have the best processing power and high-end graphics card to accommodate most types of heavy use, particularly heavy gaming, audio, image and video editing, etc. But because they’re essentially a workstation level type of laptops, they can be bulky and heavy (measures around 7 lbs. or more).
