Bottom Line

BenQ XL2720Z Review; Gaming Monitors Like No Other

(image from Amazon)

Though it doesn’t make too many changes, this new monitor from BenQ is definitely way better than its predecessors. It sports the same type of casing and stand, same hardware features and design. It is however, an improved that beats its predecessors in extra, convenient, and functional features.

If there’s anything we can complain about the BenQ XL2720Z, it would be about its 27-inch large panel that works on a relatively limited 1080p resolution. To get all the benefits of that “retina” feel everyone is hyping about, you would have to sit around four feet away from your screen, which for some people, in some ways, seem to defeat the purpose of larger field of opportunities. Also, the touch buttons can be a little erratic at times, and the viewing angle can be better. However, none of these issues can affect the monitor’s excellent reputation for gaming.

It is important to note that this BenQ monitor is not about high resolution, great color accuracy, or a flexible set of features for general use. Rather, it is a highly sophisticated gaming monitor with tons of useful features that will take your gaming to the next level. If you have already spent quite a lot of money for your system’s graphics, and want a monitor where you can stay on top of your game all the time, then you definitely should get BenQ XL2720Z. It also comes jam-packed with I/O ports and features you need for comfortable and pleasurable gaming.
